Default TSP231/237 Stock Heads 118.17mph

Tonights runs....1st time out with the new clutch and rear end... all runs on Nittos....

So, two of my times...best ET and best MPH....

60' 1.834
1/8 7.865 @ 91.9
1/4 12.108 @ 117.52

60' 1.982
1/8 7.949 @ 91.99
1/4 12.16 @ 118.17

12.1x's ranging between 117 and 118mph, on 1.8x and 1.9x's...

Couldn't break into 11's, I really need to nail a 1.7x 60' and get clean shifts.

By the end of the night I figured that my shiftlight worked best at 6500 with the rev limiter @6900. When I had the light set at 6750 I kept hitting the limiter.

Maybe 11's next time.

geez man! great mph, you should be in the mid 11s with a good hook, you still running the 10 bolt and launching easy, or is moroso still not hooking much on tnt's?

Yeah, I was dumping the clutch at 4k and would hook only a little. Feathering the clutch proved worse. Ever since they tightened the barriers closer, people just drive straight through the water box. I'd like to go to Bradenton and see what I can do there.
I only got one clean pass with all clean shifts- I never missed a shift, but I kept hitting the limiter.

I'm just getting used to the setup, so maybe if the weather holds nice and cool I'll try again next week. I'm really happy about the 118 MPH the car pulls HARD.

Great to see you out there SFLSS...thanks for letting me borrow your tire gauge. Yeah, we'll be "kicked out" soon enough, you're close to those "double sticks" and I now need a clutch after last night. I knew my stock clutch would be my weak link last night.

Will Spec 3 clutch help my ET's? I know this car has got 11's in it, if I ever learn to launch it.....

My night (sucks, I too banged on my rev limiter):

60' ET Trap
2.2 12.72 117.0
2.0 12.60 116.2

then it was bye bye clutch
