Looking to buy a trailer ? I'd post link but against the rules and not ready to get hands smacked again.....yet

Try Kaufman Trailer Sales (they Mfg. their own) in NC.....great prices IMO.

I had mine modified from the factory (shortened) to fit in my garage ....HOA

Try to find a trailer with low enough fenders so you can open
Your door while on the trailer.
Here's mine.

Mine has a 16.5' deck including the 2' dovetail. Yes, the doors open over fenders. (you can get with removable fenders too)

You have a PM

4' dove tail is a must in my opinion with the amount of overhang our cars have. I got by for years with a 2' and extended ramps or raising the front of the trailer in some way, but it was such a pain in the ***. Now with my 4' I put the ramps down and drive right up.

I agree! I coudnt get my car up set of 4' Ramps without all kinds of extensions, blocks etc. I finally gave up and just idled the car down to the muffler shop to finish weld my system up. My car isnt even lowered but with the front over-hang everything just wanted to get in the way and my trailers is only 15 inches off the ground at the back.

I got mine from Appalachian Trailers in Ohio. 4' dovetail and the car doors open without hitting the trailer fenders.

Still haven't figured out how to resize in photobucket. But here's a truck and trailer I borrow from co-workers (big help from them!).

My zuma goes in the back of the truck, he fits his golf cart on the front of the trailer.

I have an 18ft lawrimore car hauler, its 16 flat with 2ft dovetail. It came with roughly 5ft ramps and my stock height camaro will go on with no jacking or scraping

Some really nice trailers and haulers on here. I think a car sitting on a trailer looks awesome!

Thumbs up

Diamond C 18ft steel deck dovetail w/5ft steel ramps...if your car is lowered, you may want 6ft ramps! Note the low fenders too so the doors will clear!

Be prepared to pay a lot more for an aluminum trailer based on some searching I did before I bought mine. The wood deck is nice on hot days because you can sit on it and not burn your a$$ off from the sun baking the steel or aluminum up in temperature! Aluminums are nice for the strength and less weight though.

Just my $.02
