Unhappy 11.doh!!!

Ran at cecil tonight. On a completely UNPREPPED track (I hate fridays)...here is my best slip of the night (DA was calculated to be 70 feet based on weather data from weatherunderground)

Not bad for 3500 lbs. Tuning is still pretty rich (.930ish on O2s). I'll work on that some and get that 10.x slip

Looks like the LSX gave me ~2-3 tenths as I pretty much averaged 11.2-11.3 before

Congrats on the new best. I'm sure you and Moose will get those gear shifters in the 10's with some decent air and track prep.

Nice times Brian! Glad to see that LSX put down some numbers. Didn't you go with the 90mm version?

Congrats on the new best It's good to see someone else knows that the real dyno is at the track so i guess the LSX intake does work with a good heads and cam setup! What version are you running?

Have you done a 3inch X pipe true dual setup? I went to the dyno (track) last night with my new 3 inch X pipe true dual setup and shaved off a .13/1.4 mph from the ORY with 3 inch cutout. True dual defenately ROCKS!

So close! You'll get there next time. My first trip out I ran a bunch of 11.dohs. Second trip out, 10's all over the place.

Great time! On a better prepped track, 10's are in the bag. Just hit a 1.49 60' and you're there.

You're almost there.. get the 60' down a little and maybe shift a little faster and 10's will be in the bag. It's good to see that the FAST intake and 90mm throttle body works. I'll see ya at the track soon..

Pretty good there brother.

I ran a bunch of 7.08s(1/8 mile) last night. I hate Friday nights at most tracks also. What you need to do is go out when your track is having a big bracket racing and the track prep will be real good!

Now, I think that I could be in the running of the 11.dohs kingship also!

Coach

Going on a Wednesday or Saturday will help the 60' situation (they actually prep the track). Unfortunately they are booked until the end of may for Saturdays

Going to try to go this wednesday (if the rain holds off)

Nice... you're getting there i think you need at least 98mph at the 1/8th to get there at 3500 raceweight.

My car was wierd I ran 98.8 in the 1/8th but only 123.95 in the 1/4 and 11.15 on a 1.50 sixty. I did spin the slicks for about 10 feet though. That might be a factor.

heh, this is an 11 doh timeslip if there ever was one - I can remember exactly the first word that came out of my mouth when I read it, it began with an F

Luckily the next pass was alittle better
