I want a better 1/4 mile, should I?
I have been dwelling on how to better my 1/4 mile besides working on my 60 ft. I have come to the conclusion to go with a 3.73 gear vs my 3.23 in my A4. Is this a good choice? Part of my decision was to preserve as much of my extended warranty as possible so the TQ was out. Will the gear swap help me???

Gears are a waste of money at this point IMO. You need POWER! Get rid of that crap flowmaster or at least install a cutout. Dump the HPIII and get a real tune too. Headers and a cam would be a nice start.

I plan on getting 2 bullet mufflers and having a shop run true duals with a x pipe from cat back. I just do not know if this will help with HP and 1/4 or how much...
I will have 1000.00 to dump into it in less than a month and was considering a gear swap. At first I was thinking T/C with a 3200 Stall and Trans Go kit with Tran cooler but again that has to wait until warranty is up...
The HPIII programming was removed because the shifting was F ing up.
