Harlan shift light not working
I've got a brand new Harlan light and an autometer tach. My tach works just fine and I tied into the same wire that the tach is on. I can program the light and it powers on, but it won't come on when I hit my shift point. I've tried it as low as 2000 rpm to test it but it doesn't come on. I have it programmedl for a 4 cyl engine and I know the signal is good because my tach works. I rewired it twice and all the connections are tight with heatshrink on them. Am I missing something or is it possible I got a bad light? Thanks.

Lol.... It's been in the car for years, since instructions say 4cyl, I'm probably mistaken.
Edit: I just googled the instructions, I must have a raptor light(lol). But in what I read they set theirs to v8

Here's the Harlan instructions. The last page says to use 4 cyl for LS1.
