Default ET fronts on the street?

Any of you guys run ET front runners (skinnies) on the street full time? If so how do you find them? I have a VW metric tire on the front of mine but want a taller tire.

I have driven mine on the street a few times and they pushed a bit, they have no tread.

I am looking to switch to 8 ply sportsmans.

I ran them all last summer about 2800 miles. You wouldn't want to do any transam racing with them but they are servicable.Didn't get any flats or bent wheels and we have some trophy sized pot holes here. You just have too use your head and allow more stopping room and take it slighly easy in the corners.

I heard they wear out fast on the street but I only drove mine to the track once on the highway. I was a bit nervous.

8 ply Sportsmans here. I drive to and from the track with them. No problems so far.

The ET fronts are only rated for cars 3000lbs or less, they will cut very easy on the street. It can be done but it's not recommended.
