From what I gathered is that they're just changing the name, I just skim'd but I doubt they'd stop making those tires, too much exposure with racing series and all

"The only change that competitors will notice initially is the g-Force name on the sidewall of the tire," said Todd Steen, motorsports marketing manager for BFGoodrich Tires. "The performance and the reputation of the Comp T/A Drag Radial will live on as a part of the g-Force T/A Drag Radial line."

later on if you read it says that they will be phasing out the comp t/a tread pattern in favor the g-force pattern....

Plans call for discontinuing the Comp T/A tire's tread pattern and replacing it with the new g-Force Drag Radial tread design.
-end of 2nd paragraph

I thought that people weren't happy with the g-force drag racing ability compared to the comp t/a's.

The new tread patterns are different. Hook better. A move made by BFG to compensate for MT's hard hooking Drag radial

and its not really the tread pattern that is gonna let you hook...the 0 compound will play most of the roll in that

I don't see 275/40 17 on the size chart. Did they forget about the F-bod?

not all of us are fortunate to pimp 17's besides a 40 series drag slick isnt optimal...very little sidewall to let the tire do the work for you.

My BFG DRs are 16 inchers. I don't care what they do to them as long as they work.
