I am doing a lil street drag pack and have a question.
For performance with a set of ETs on my Z28. Which would be better for rears
17x11
90000000964 3745R P295/45R17 28X11.50R17 on a 17x10 rim
or
90000000963 3744R P315/35R17 26X12.50R17 on a 17x11 rim
or
90000000991 3786R P305/45R18 29X11.50R18 on an 18x9.5 rim
This is for a drive up and run setup. The fronts are 18x9.5s.
A second question is does the 17x11 vs 17x10 make much of a difference rim width. I know we can go more technical on this but on a street strip setup are there any advantages over the extra inch in these DRs?

you need more sidewall than you need that little bit of width. the 28" will work better than the 27" 315.
Why not do a set of 15s? it would probably be cheaper in the long run.
