Does anybody have a fast ls1 383 like low 10s high 9s on motor haven't seen any that was that fast thinking about building one

people do it, but not much. Its the same price usually to find a 6.0 block and stroke that sucker. sell your short block (assuming it runs) to find a 6.0 block or whatever u want. Basically a 383 needs all new rotating assembly which is about the same price or is the same price as a new rotating assembly for a 408/416/4xx whatever. and both block will have to be machined either way too. Just food for thought when i was thinking about doing the same thing. 393 CI though.
