ABS delete questions
Right now I am running with my ABS BAT fuse pulled - so much better without the ABS fighting me with slicks/skinnies! However, now my light is on all the time.
I want to get the ABS delete block, and do it right (and reduce weight), but was wondering how do you get rid of the ABS INOP and BRAKE light?? Can LS1 Edit do anything for the lights?
What have those of you who deleted ABS done?? Thanks for the help!

They dont use bulbs for those, they have LEDs soldered to a circuit board. I just pulled the cluster and took the guage face off (guages stay one the face so you dont have to pull the needles) and suffed some foam in the little light tunnels - gone
I got tired of trying to stop my car over 100mph wth the slicks/skinneys on it also and pulled the fuse long ago. When I put the 9" in I didnt even bother putting the abs/cs sensors back in..
Cant do anything about it with LS1edit.

I did the same thing...except I put 2 strips of electrical tape behind the panel. One strip still allowed a tad to bleed through and could be seen at night. 2 strips = gone
Note...that once you do the ABS block...the Sevice Vehicle light will come on too. I put a dummy computer in for street driving and just pull the harness (and computer) for the track.

I think he is just plugging an ABS module in to drive aound with and pulls it out at the track.

Turo,
Not a daily driver - but to answer your question, I think it would be personal preference. I'm old school and hate ABS - especially when the slicks and skinnies make it pull and act all crazy. It almost got me killed more than once! I love the car without it - it stops just like it did before as long as you aren't panic stopping. You just won't get the ratcheting pedal anymore.
