It's the block where the wiring harness goes through the firewall on the drivers side. Some brilliant engineer at GM had it packed full of epoxy

We got one with the same pistons just Callies crank and rods with AFR 245's.Thats what I was guesstamating too. That car is going to be lite. Ours is 3073 no driver with a 16 point cage. Yours should be even lighter.

Yea was trying to get it as close as I could to 3000lbs with no driver. Might even be a little under when it's all done.

I will bet your less than 3000 already. That is going to be one crazy azz fun ride. Lol
This is our third winter on our build. Feels like its taking forever. We will definitely have it out in the spring though. Hey have a Very Merry Christmas and, Best of Luck on your build.

Haven't decided yet but probably gonna run a 28x10.5w or might step up to a 29

Got a little bit of progress done. The engine is now complete and ready to go. Here are a few pic of setting up the valve train, final assembly, and custom coolant crossover i made.
