Default 2.11 60' with 3200-3600 stall. WTF?

Just pulled my converter out to install my fti 4k and find that the previous converter was a 3200-3600 boss hog 9.5". This was what I ran with the 3200-3600.

This is in a 5.3/th350 gmc jimmy.

holley carb/msd 6010
torquer v2
shorty headers
3.42s
dead hook on a 28x10.5

What gives?

Nada. I believe the previous owner put an add-a-leaf on the top side of the spring pack. you can see it from the pics, but it really does nothing imo.

I'd have to agree with wlsmoku , More gear would help.
The S10 aren't as light as most people assume and your probably dead hooking because you're not making enough torque with that combo to break the tires loose.

Just did a little search, Curb weight with the 4.3 V6 for the 2 door blazer is 3518 Then you need to add another 100lbs or so for the 5.3 and the drivers weight. My guess is you're probably close on your weight guess.

Gears. That cam needs gears by itself. Plus the 28s and heavy truck.

I would drop to a 26in tire that would probably help out a bit.
