Default Ratchet shifter in a4 console

I need a ratchet shifter for my 99 camaro with an a4 console, I've tried searching but no one really says what shifter to get cause there isn't one made of our cars. Do I get one for an early gen camaro, or a universal one? I was thinking of using a b&m pro ratchet. Thanks guys, an sorry if this is in the wrong section I'm new here,

You looking to do something like this? This is a B&M Pro Ratchet in a automatic console. A little trimming and it fit pretty good.

I'm betting that he had to notch some out of the bottom where the factory shifter sliders and take some out of the ashtray as well..

I never tried to get it to work. To be honest, I use the 1/4 stick shifter so I had to throw my factory slide away and never thought I would be making other plates. I just put a shift boot on mine and I'm happy with how it looks. I see no reason why the factory slide wouldn't work though if you took th time to notch it.

Very nice. Thats some clean cutting towards the back to allow the shifter to come all the way back. Nice job
