Bolt in roll cage
Looking into purchasing a bolt in roll cage set up and wanted to see what my options are. Seen the Wolfe racecraft chromoly 6pt. Want to hear some personal experience with bolt in cages.

I bought a Wolfe weld in and a friend got a bolt in. The difference I could see in the 2 (not installed yet) is the cross bar is all ready welded and the floor plates are all ready attached and bent to the floor where the weld in isn't. Both were jig notched. I'm kinda wondering if since it bolts in if it would rattle.

I just installed the Wolfe CM 6 pt. I had them weld the crossbar in and powercoat black. I was very pleased with the "fit and finish". As a bonus 8 of the 16 holes drilled went through my triangulated subframe connectors (so I had to make a quick run to hardware store for longer bolts). I don't see anyway this thing is going to rattle. It is STOUT! The only problem is that the car will more that likely surpass the 10.0 rating with my next "MOD"

I got mine during the 15% off Christmas sale and it arrived around the first of April. I really should have done an "install" thread (the directions weren't great). It did go in smooth though, two people is a must. No pics, but I can take some of the final product if interested...

I should have gone for an 8-point instead of a 6-point but running faster than 10.0 has another set of rules other than the cage so at least running bottom 10s is possible without getting booted.
