Just read this whole thread! I'm currently building your original set up. Do you remember what part number your intercooler was? Any suggestions to your original setup? Thanks and sweet build man!

I would suggest getting one with side to side entry/exit. The top and center entrance would be tough on a full chassis car.
This was the part number though.

Nice stack of stuff heading to the machine shop for noring and honing.
Frozen boost type 12 cooler. I will give it a shot. Hating that I am adding a couple hundred pounds to the car. But itll sure be nice to not break it. I figure if nothing else and its not fast. Atleast itll be reliable.

Little by little! Dropped the engine off for boring, honing, and balancing today. They said I should have it in a couple weeks. I have plenty of time since i dont have about 11 grand for the rest of the car still! Hustle and grind mode is in play!

Decided Id finally drill out these fuel pump fittings. Since more then a dozen people said that those AEM pumps will not make that kind of power on e85 and especially not with those fittings. So I had to test it out. Trapped 160 with 11-13% convertor slip at over 3,400lbs. It was making plenty of power for $260 in pumps.

After weighing the car and it being 3,400+ with me in it. I knew I had to cut some weight. Rob a little less power. longer first so I wouldnt have as many traction issues on the street.

Then I ran across the deal on the dart block and heads, and blew the weight loss thing all to hell. Because that bitch is heavy as hell. Then the air to water. If Im lucky after all the money I wasted on a new rear end and that powerglide, Ill go half a second faster then I did before.
We shall see. I just really hope I dont have to take it apart anymore lol.

I couldnt help but stack this **** up and stare in amazement. I literally hustled up the money to build an ls next over a winter. I am damn proud of myself. I make $12.50 an hour at my day job with small commision. Wrench on cars 7 days a week out of my home shop. ******* tiring but it is all worth it!
