Need antiroll bar?

Need antiroll bar?
I have double adjustable rear coilovers on my 99 SS and tubular everything in the rear. I was wanting to know if I could get by without running an antiroll bar or will it help out a lot on et? I figured I might be able to stiffen the compression on the rear passenger side coilover and help instead of adding a roll bar. So far I've ran 6.7's @105 with a 1.49 60ft. I think it will 60 better when I put the spool in this week because one side was slipping with the posi unit. I have the money to get a roll bar but I'd rather spend it on front coilovers if I can run as good without it.

Is the car twisting up on the launch? If it is leaving somewhat level as is, you can get away with it for now. But I would think at that level, it will be leaving uneven and putting stress on the chassis. I would highly recommend doing a bar versus running uneven settings on shocks

Do you still have the stock sway bar on the rear? If so, a full on anti-roll bar may not be necessary, but a good upgraded rear sway bar may do what you need. It does not appear to be too uneven, so the higher rate of the standard upgrade bar may be enough.
However, if you plan on going bigger and faster later, it may be worth while to go ahead and do the bigger bar

It seems to be working fine for now, but when the time comes to hit it with more power I'd opt for a BMR, or UMI arb.
Unless you're going for an all out racecar, then the MWC, or burkhart one works well.

The MWC tubular anti-roll is going to be your best investment, especially with more torque applied. There are great benefits to the MWC components, and just one stand out feature on the anti-roll is it is a full 20 pounds less than some of the other popular sway bars.

If your car leaves like mine, one tire on the ground and one in the air you need a anti-roll bar. I'm looking into the mwc myself. Just have to find the time to install it and have someone weld it.

I have the MWC bar. It's a nice piece. It is a little louder to drive due to the rod ends, but it's manageable in my opinion. I have not been back to get any results at the track, but one nice thing I noticed about driving it compared to a stocker, is that with out having a sway bar on the front, the car would roll over quite a bit in turns. It feels a lot more solid now and I feel more confident in turns with some speed. The weight difference alone is great.
