I just got a lc9 eng the aluminum 5.3 motor and im Planning on goin turbo with the eng what is the best heads to run for my setup or should I use the stock ones and just port them out!

I'm not an expert on what heads come on that engine, but you can pick up a pair of 317 heads for probably $100. Throw some springs on them, and you will be good. Plenty of people making close to 4 digit power on the untouched heads.

Many aftermarket companies will sell the LSA head castings complete. Otherwise, just go look on 5th gen ZL1 forums, and Cadillac CTS-V LSA forums. You might find a pair.

Yeah, the ZL1 camaros and the later model CTS-v had the supercharged LSA engine in them.

Had to read this twice. Op has a 5.3 liter and is looking for Ls3/Lsa/L92 type head? To the best of my knowledge that will not work unless its an aftermarket small bore head. If boosting the motor as said already people have made plenty of power on the stock heads.

Yes, your best option right now is to research as much as possible. In the Forced Induction section of this forum youll find plenty of 5.3l builds. A good start might be to google "sloppy mechanic", hes a member of this and many other forums. Very knowledgeable and plenty of builds by him to read through.
