Default Anyone using the ET Street R Bias on the street?

Curious how you like their behavior. I drive to the track 60 miles each way and thought about using the ET Street R Bias.

How much better is the ET Drag at the track? Will I see a significant difference or am I splitting hairs?

It would be best have someone from Mickey Thompson chime in forsure.
I'd like to know how different the new "ET Street R" biasply is from the old ET street biasply, or is it merely a tread difference?
I've been led to believe that the old ET street was the same as the stiff sidewall ET drag, but again in for real details. It looks like they stopped making the equivalent size to the 28x10.5 ET drag in the DOT- ET street which is really inconvenient. In for extra information as I'll be needing a new set come spring.

For what it's worth, I swapped to the et drag stiff
Wall from the old style et street bias ply. The et drags were night and difference better. Not even a comparison.

Anywhere from 1.7-1.8 spinning. Now mid high 1.6's and the car dead hooks and bogs. From one extreme to the next lol

Wow!

I am am pretty consistent with 1.65 and a best of 1.56 with the ET Street R and a 6 speed. Radials and manuals are tough to dial in.

I would expect the ET Drag to spin a little.

Yes radials are a pain in the *** with a manual lol. I wish they would spin some.

They hook nicely on the street. I can deal with the limited handling they provide in a 50 series. I kept them on all season and had no issues.

At the track? well, that was trail and error and hard on my stock T56. I broke the input shaft and decided to upgrade to the T56 Magnum. I am curious how the bias will handle turns at freeway exits and things of that nature.

I tuned a car not to long ago that had 27" bias plys on the rear, and damn did it sway. Seemed like it never quit swaying at all. That paired with skinnies up front had me on the edge the whole time trying to dial it in.

the bias ET r's work great, the size is 28x11.5 15 its there 275/60/15 comparison size. Ive tried 4 different sets this year. On a marginal track they work great as when they spin they will recover unlike a radial. I turn mid 130's all day off an idle. But taking an exit ramp at 60 is a no go what so ever lol. Plus as stated they will have a little sway on the top end. I would buy them again for track use if I needed an DOT tire to run. I drive on the Pro Bracket radial slick now. I can take an exit ramp at 60 now with no problem and its rock steady at 140 range no problem and its a 28x9
I would try the ET street Radial Pro 3754X 275/60/15 thats an awesome tire even on a marginal surface but it has a bigger section width
