1500-1600HP Cometic or Copper headgasket with Oringed block? Im fixing to order parts for my build and I was wanting to get some opinions on which head gasket setup to go with for my build. Dart block, 6 bolt PRC 255 heads...which would be a better option for 1500-1600HP..a Oringed block with a copper HG or a Cometic HG? Thanks for your input

Copper gaskets and O ring is what we use.
Usually change them every 50-75 passes, we keep an eye on the cooling system pressure to see when they start to leak.

Are you asking about using:
Copper gasket w/o-ring vs. MLS gasket w/o-ring?
-or-
Copper gasket w/o-ring vs. MLS gasket with out an o-ring?
Reason I ask is because I have actually seen where guys have tried running an o-ring with an MLS gasket, though it doesn't seem to be common practice.
