Trying to get an idea of what my car will weigh when finished. 98 z28 t top car. 5.3 with on3 turbo setup. Th400 trans . No exhaust. Midwest chassis front k member, and a arms. Midwest chassis 9" and rear suspension. Race star wheels. I've taken out all hvac, stereo, speakers, airbags etc etc. pretty much taken everything out possible without hacking up the body. Even pulled the padding off the stock carpet. No power steering, ac, or abs. Stock brakes, and stock front leather seats. Trying to get a rough idea of weight will be with no driver or cage.

Rough guess. Maybe somewhere between 3050 and 3250. Only reason I have a 200lb difference is becuase the turbo piping can add up quick I'd think and depends how you have it ran.

You could easily loose more weight in the brakes and get those racestars off of it.

I bet its close to 3450, Just taking stuff out is one thing. Cutting out unnecessary metal is a different story.

Yup 3450 plus I'd wager.

I cut, a lot to get my junk to 3200 with a 270 lb driver... hopefully driver (me) can lose 40 and I can find another 60 to take out by the time I finish it.
