feel like my cars slow in the 1/8 time slip
as the title says I feel like my car ( 2000 Camaro ss m6) is kinda slow in the 1/8 mi. I look at the time slip and I'm happy with the 1/8 to 1/4 as I feel it has proper results but I feel that with my 60' and I'm hitting all my shifts great that I should be lower 7s or even may touch 6s. my mods are:
stock bottom end 346
prc ls6 stage 2.5 milled 40 thousands
231/237 @ .050 .618/.607 lift 112 +4 lsa
ls6 intake
36# fast injectors
1-3/4 hooker long tubes
tsp true duals but run them with no muffler after the x pipe at the track electric water pump
mwc 9" 4.10
monster stage 3 clutch
no spare tire
mwc k member
no abs
mwc front bumper support
koni adjustable shocks (yes not a drag shock but its working for me)
mickey Thompson street R 275r15
so car weights 3580 race weight I know its heavy! but its street car ha ha my goal is to get a 10 second slip with the car and call it quits with this car and finish my drag car that i'm working on. whats you're guy's thoughts on the potential of this set up and my time slip?
60' 1.575

660' 7.294

1320' 11.360
1/4 mph 122.13

The numbers look good to me also. 7.29 X my trusty conversion factor of 1.565 = 11.40, so pretty close. Seems to be strong 1/8-1/4.
To hit 7.0's or touch on 6's, you need to be running around 98-99 MPH, so prolly need a little more HP. A 7.02 in the 1/8th should get you your goal in the 1/4.

Reality is your car runs pretty dam good for its weight and being a m6. Back about 10 years ago when my son a I were running mid 10's with our light (3,100 lb ) A4 cars and going low 1.30 1.32 60 fts . My sons friend had all the latest and great parts on his M6 Camaro and was 60 footing in the mid to high 1.40's to 1.50 at the same weight.

I feel like for mods and weight your time is right about where I would expect it to be.

It was street tuned so unsure of power but I would say right around 400hp. And Im sure it weighs a few hundred less than your car my guess would be around 3200-3250 without me in it
