skinnies up front/ remove power steering?
I am running pro star 3 1/2" front rims with 165 volkswagon tires and wondered if it's worth removing the power steering, it is a daily driver. Would I just get a 1LE Belt? part #?

It's hard to say if you'd find it "worth removing" or not. You do stand to lose ~12lbs or so (if I remember the weight correctly). Steering effort isn't that terrible w/o the pump on the car, but you definitely know it's gone. The steering is not the same as a car with a true manual rack, IMHO.
Madman and ARE both sell manual racks that fit our cars, but they start to get kind of pricey. The manual rack is the true right way to do it, though...

I've felt the car with no power steering, and unless you aren't moving, its a chore to move..

I have driven an LS1 with no PS and skinnies and its really not that bad. Just cut the lines by the rack and loop them together.

Re: skinnies up front/ remove power steering?
I've been driving with no power steering and skinnies on my car for almost a year. It's not that big of a deal, but then I guess it also depends on how "hard" it is for you to actually turn the wheel. I mean to say that for me its not that hard to turn the wheel
