Default 7.26 in the 1/8th @ 98 mph!!! Stock A4 w/no converter!

The car has a direct flow lid, Ed Wright tuning, and 3.73 gear, 150hp NX kit. It ran 7.26 @98.3 w/a 1.68 60 ft. Stock weight, 2002. Is this unreal or what? FWIW the car was still spinning about 10-15 ft out, so there's more time to be found.

He has went through 2 different convertors and back to stock. This is his best time yet.

If we could just convince him to get a yank instead of a vig. he might bust the 6's. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Razz]" src="gr_tounge.gif" />

Goes to show that a big stall converter and nos don't go well together.

Phil buddy...break down and get a yank 3600E like I've been preaching about and run ya a 6.99.

A couple things to add about these times are that they were ran at an elevation of 2000ft and I checked the da yesterday at about the time he was making the runs and it was in the 3200 range. It also weighs in the neighborhood of 3700lb with driver and besides mods he listed is bone stock...even the super quiet factory exhuast.

We need to load up and go down to steel, al like we were talking about last night and see what type of 1/4 mile times you can run....at near sea level.

wow...i got a new user name...way to start off the new week <img border="0" title="" alt="[Roll Eyes]" src="images/icons/rolleyes.gif" />

98 ta, tp4400, 3.73, slp lt's/orp.

If I go back to any converter, it'll be the 2800 Vig. When I had the other converters it hit the tires too hard to cut any good 60ft.'s I think I'll go on a diet and get into the 6's. WoooHooo!

The reason I got the tuning is because of Torque Managment. On the spray it was horrible even with the stock converter. I also needed the speed-o recalibrated.
