Need lightweight hood info...
Who makes the lightest bolt-on fiberglass hood?
Will I need new 'pistons' or springs for it?
I don't care about cowl size.Stock is fine.It just needs to be light.
Thanks.
I don't really want a pin on hood.
I know they're lighter,I info on those.
Just looking for bolt-on info

You should be able to use your stock equipment with just some different struts.

Sean, VFN is in Addison near Street Stuff. Glasstek is in the same complex as FLP.
I think the reduction would be about 20 lbs if you go to a stock appearing bolt'on hood. I think you can continue to use your stock hood struts but I'm not sure.
