what kind of '60 should I expect?
2002 Z28 6speed, 3.42, MTI lid, Nittos...all else stock.
The car hooks great! As a matter of fact it bogs and usually cuts a 2.12 '60. I played with tire pressure, launch at 5k, slip the clutch then floor it. My best launch was a 2.0 and that was no bog and very little tire spin. Is 1st gear extremely high in this car? This has almost proven to me to go to a lower gear such as a 4.10. My best run was a 2.0 '60 and 13.28 @106

Re: what kind of '60 should I expect?
gears are NEEDED for us M6'ers.
I will soon be throwing some 4.30's on. I was originally wanting 4.10's but got a deal on some 4.30s so I jumped on it.

4.10's are the way to go !!! Trust me on this one, Guff... I installed mine last year and never looked back... I made it down to my 7.50 @ 95 MPH before I broke 'em.. Just gotta be careful on sticky tires, because you WILL snap the 10 bolt even with a meager 4500 RPM dump ... Been there done that, got the Moser 12 bolt
