Default Rivercity Raceway($1400.00 to win footbrake)

Rvercity Raceway in Marion, Texas(outside of San Antonio, Texas) is paying $1400.00 to win footbrake on Saturday June 29th. Gates open at 4:00pm, time trails at 5:00pm and eliminations at 8:00pm. The fireworks show is at 10:00pm

Trace, Brandy and I are going to head down to Marion and see if we can get us another big pay day.

This is a 1/4 mile track and I know the owner is a real nice cat.(he races at TAD all the time). This should be a very fun event. Check out ther web site. WWW.rivercityracewayinc.com

Anyone want to go?

Remember: A bad day racing is better than a good working

Jessica and I want to make a TX race but I think that's a little too far for a weekend.

RCR is a nice track, but if you are gonna come to TX to race, HRP is gonna get you better times for sure.

check those dollar amounts again, that is the payout, not 1st place alone. I'm guessing about $700 for first though, not bad.

Shouldn't you be racing in the sportsman class? Footbrake is usually a bunch of slow 13-sec cars at HRP. Sportsman cars are 9-11 seconds and usually on slicks.

Good luck in the race. Maybe you can pull out another win. I hope you get that 10 second slip soon. Keep the wins acomming. Cheers. Kent.

Tony,

$1400.00 is to win footbrake.

Footbrake or Modified class is for race cars that don't run electronics these type of race cars run anywere from 8 second to 15 second range.

No-Electronics defind: No Transbrakes or linelock launches allowed. Delay boxes, 2-step starts, timer or RPM activated throttle stops or shifters not allowed. Downtrack timers/counters/Real Time Displays, stutter boxes(including rev. limiters or equivalent ignition interruption) are not allowed in any class.

To win in this class you have to be able to cut a good light(5.0's to 530's)and run your dail in.(within 1-3 thousandth) to win.
