Default Went racing, hood didn't fly off..

I've got around 300 miles and a couple passes on the 4 pin / Glasstek hood setup, with no problems to report.

I raced at California Speedway -parking lot 1/4 mile today. It was pretty hot and slippery (probably 2500' DA?). Due to muffler requirements and better than expected gas mileage on the trip down I was ~50# heavier than I could be and down 10rwhp on power. Both passes were 11.1 with the best being 11.10@121.5 1.53 60'.

The next project on this car is installing the areospace brakes, and tracking down one of my LS6 heads that appears to have been lost by UPS.

I've always got the Sonoma to race while I wait.

11.1's is still flying, especially for how hot it is out at this time of year...

Very impressive no doubt....

I have always been more impressed by a car that can lay down a number in the heat/humidity....

Terry, those are great times considering they were done at Fontuckey . I can tell you from experience that I run a consistent .3 tenths and 3 mph slower there than at Carlsbad. Brandin, Chirs and I are going to carlsbad on the 6th you should roll down. No one will be there because it's the 4th of July weekend I hope .
