Brake Control Solenoid, 1998-2002 LS-1 Camaro/Firebird

Get those tires nice and sticky before your next 1/4 mile pass. Use your car's front brakes to hold or keep from "rolling out" of the staging lights. SLP's custom fit brake lock control holds pressure in your front brakes while you release the rears for easy, smoky burnouts! Apply the brakes and flip the switch; then take your foot off the brake pedal. An electrical solenoid maintains line pressure to your front brakes until you release the switch, holding the car in place. SLP offers this EXCLUSIVE kit which is custom fitted to the Camaro and Firebird chassis while retaining your ABS and TCS. You get precision bent steel lines with OE fittings for an exact fit, the solenoid, wires, a switch and complete detailed installation instructions.

There is a GP for the TR kit going on till the 6th. $189 shipped. Sure SLP is cheaper, but uses inferior parts compared to the TR.

Check this THREAD

GP is also listed here.

I just ordered a Line-loc from Jegs ($110), A switch and some wire from Radio shack ($3.00), then bent my own lines and called it a day. But hey, it's your money. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" /> <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />

I use the SLP unit and have no problems, all I did was open the package, throw the directions away and install it like you think it should go. No leaks, the tires smoke, and save a few bucks.
