Drag racing info needed---->HELP!!!
I need some shift extension data from some of the low 11/high 10 Sec N/A auto cars...
Can u tell me where u shift and where it drops back to on your 1 to 2 and 2 to 3?
Also what FLASH stall are u seeing on your autotap?
FWIW I took the UT4600 out of my car and decided to have it restalled to a TP4400 but I still need this info if u guys can help....
My car peaks at 6500 HP and 4600 TQ
As of now my Vig 4200 flashed right to 4200 which I feel is 200 light,I still think the Yank TP4400 will do alittle better and be better on the top end.Would u agree?
Only real thing I dont like about the Vig is its dropping back to 5300 from a 6700 shift point?
I thought ideally u only wanted 1100/1200 shift drop Max on a setup like some of us have?
Any help?

JS, I'll need to look at some Atap runs. I don't look at my tach when I race most of the time. You may want to contact Ragtop99. He knows lots about this subject, especially as it pertains to the Yank products.

Re: Drag racing info needed---->HELP!!!
JS,
If your Vig if flashing to 4200 now, I think it might flash just a tad higher in the cooler air when the car is making a bit more power. Does that make sense? I would think it would flash 1-2% higher in cooler weather, meaning it would be closer to 4250-4300. Thats not far from where you want to be.

Re: Drag racing info needed---->HELP!!!
Kenny I talked to a very smart drag racer this week.He confirmed what u said about weather hp/tq and its relation to flash stall.
He said,I'll see another 100 rpm out of my Vig in the fall but I'm still 100/200 rpm off what I need.I really need the 4400/4500 flash.
Not to mention the shift extension of the Yanks is better from testing them both.
I will only drop to 5500/5600 with the Yank TP4400.The best this Vig has done is 5300 which too low for my hp curve.
I wont change the Vig out until first week of Oct.By then I can get a fair comparision of the 2 verters in my car...I still think the TP4400 is the one to run.It plain kicks *** on the shift extension over a Vig.
It should also be worth 11RWHP over the Vig in the 4000 to 6800 range.
Thanx guys
