How much ET reduction do you guys see with hotter weather?
I ran 13.00 @ 106.5 mph ,before my MAFT and header install, in 60 degree weather and yesterday ran a 13.40 @ 110 in 90 degree weather with the headers and MAFT.(terrible
60 fts.) How much of a difference in ET do you think the 30 degrees difference in temp cost me?

although temp is an important factor you also have to consider the humidity and barometric pressure to figure out the difference in density altitude between the runs. Then you get a much better idea of how far off your times will be on any particular day.
On a side note, you gained 3.5mph in worse weather conditions. So go get a good set of tires, lower that 60' and that is where you'll see a big reduction in ET. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />

My 60 ft. times were maybe 2 tenths slower. That would not make up for the difference. I am wondering how much of a variance in ET some of the guys see with the same setup in different temperatures . My Viper ran about 4 to 5 tenths slower when it was 90 degrees as compared to 60 degrees.

I'd like to know this as well, I'm in AZ and with my mods I think I could run faster than 13.5 with 2.0 60's.
The humidity sucks and it's real hot even at night.

My car has run a best of 12.52 at 107.5 in COOL weather 55 - 60 degrees and 30% humidity. Now in 80 -90 degrees with 60 -70 % humidity I can only run 12.90 at 103 -104 mph. Thats a loss of 30 HP by the MPH numbers.

My car has run it's best (12.76) in 50ish degree weather, goes about 13.0x around 75, and goes 13.2-13.4 in hot (90ish+) weather
