Tell me about this treating the slicks trick........
I have brand new ET streets. Do you just wipe thinner all over the tread surface? What exactly does this do to the tire? Do you need to treat them on a regular basis? TIA.

give them a BIG HUGE SMOKEY burn out the first time you use them to get the crap off of them....that is the general consesus

I like to wipe the treads off with thinner then a nice hard burnout the first few times <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />

I'd only buy my own VHT if I raced at a terrible track.
My first burnout at the track is always my longest.

yes it is actually......just have someone put some if front of each rear tire and then drive onto it.
then do a burnout in it....should help
