if the guy can ride at all and this is a late model bike...99-up. i would say you donthave a chance. I dont se how you ran with the other guy. maybe from a dead stop if the guy cant ride. with a good rider the bikes run low 11's easy. with a real good rider high 10's. from a roll you would have to be damn fast for a bolt on nitrous car. What do you run? mid 11's or so I would guess. AM I off? I know there are a few out there running better but thts not the norm.

i say rn him from a stop and jump him out of the whole and you can hold him of.

I have a newer r6 WIch is the same as the 600 and i can cut 11.10 all day long and even high 10s on a good day it is even faster from a roll becuse you dont have to launch. you dont have a chance.

I m sorry but the R6 is slow from a roll. I dont care what anyone says. My best friend has one and we race all the time.
He gets me from a stop, but from 40-50 to 120 he honestly has no chance in hell. its ugly. I have seen STOCK TA's beat R6's from a roll. They simply have no grunt on the high end. People can flame me for saying this all they want to, but I know that there are those here who know exactly what I am talking about. I have all kinds of respect for bikes, but the 600's are just downright slow from a roll.
Sorry, as for the A4 guy, your gonna smoke him. If you had a 6 speed, you could probably do it without hitting the gas. Hell, with that stall you have, you might be able to do it without hitting that gas as well.
Make a couple runs with him. NA and NOS.
Bottom line, have fun, I know he will have more respect once he races you.
Peace.

I've beaten two R6's from a 40mph to 120mph and beat them by a good tow to three car lengths. Biker guys think they have a better advantage from roll...they really don't.

Thanks for the backup.
Although you do not have to be in the 11's to beat a bike from a roll.

I don't know much about 600s but I can tell you that I don't think you'd stand a chance against my VFR800 unless you're running 10s. I say this because I would *THINK* that an R6 should be about as fast as my VFR800 but I very well could be wrong.

I also have a V-Max and I was VERY surprised to find that my VFR is actually slightly faster from a roll than it is. I certainly wasn't expecting that with the mighty V-Max being a 1200 and not quite a stock one at that.

This is true. When I had bolt ons and was running high 12's at 109mph I raced a f2 and f3 from about the same roll and beat them by a half car length. I never did race any r6's until recently. Most stock 600cc bikes are a good race from a roll..I wouldn't race it froma stop though..they have the advantage then.

Haha! I'm starting to sound like a ricer!

thanks for the help guys. i know my chances are better on the highway, thats where my advantage (horsepower) comes in. if i were gonna beat him from a zero, id want to do it at the track so i can cut a better light, then give him a 1.7 60 ft. but that cant happen
oh well, ill keep youll updated. maybe ill even get it on video

I race my buddy on his 2002 R6 all the time from a roll. My car runs 11.9 @ 116 and he pulls me pretty hard. I would imagine a good rider traps low to mid 120's in the 1/4 on a GSXR. Good luck though!!! Let us know.
