hook ground under hood back up?
I have my battery mounted in the trunk.
I removed the t tops plastic holders and there is a 6mm stud there that I connected to for a ground, I did grind down to barre metal where my ground's ring connector makes contact.
will it be a good enough ground?
safe to ground my stock battery cable under the hood also????????????
thanks!
after searching the archives, I think I will just get a regular battery for the trunk so I don't have charging problems...

Re: hook ground under hood back up?
I think a regular battery will work well for you.
I have a 2ga. ground wire from the battery to what sounds like the same stud you're describing. Also, there is a 8ga(?) ground under the hood that goes from the framerail to the engine block. I've thought about trying to make a better ground from the battery, but what I have seems to work fine.
