Darn Weld 15x10s! Anyone running a spacer?
Was running Weld 15x8s before and had the calipers grinded down. Worked fine without a spacer.
I bolted on the Weld 15x10s (7.5" bs) and they rubbed badly. So I started grinding again yesterday, but the calipers starting looking a little "thin" to me.
If you're running this combo, are you using a spacer in the rear?
Thanks in advance!

Oh yeah brother! I run a 5/16 spacer with my Weld 15x10's. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" />
If I don't get the spacers just right they will still rub. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Mad]" src="gr_images/icons/mad.gif" />
Good luck to ya. <img border="0" alt="[angel]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_angel.gif" />

You should be ashamed for what you did last night. You about scared that poor little ricer to death. He never reved his engine anymore after that. lol <img border="0" title="" alt="[Cool]" src="gr_images/icons/cool.gif" />

I run 15x10 with 7.5" B.S. and no spacers.
No problem with the calipers after grinding.
Actually they are no where near as thin as the fronts , which I run 15x4" with 2.5" B.S. and no spacers.

I got the new Bogart D-10's from PPO. 15x9.75, 7.5 back spacing. No grinding, no spacers. Looks awsome. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" /> <img border="0" alt="[Fluffy]" title="" src="graemlins/fluffy.gif" />

I had the same problem when I went from 15x8's to 15x10's...
I am running 15x10 Pro Stars, 7.5 backspacing, and NO spacers.
Are you sure you're not overgrinding a spot that's fine?

PSJ...i use a colored marker each time to color the caliper before I test fit the rim. Then I can see where the marker has been rubbed off. I think I will use spacers. Got a whole bunch of them at the house.

Re: Darn Weld 15x10s! Anyone running a spacer?
I had 10's with no spacers and no problems. The fronts are tougher. Went to 8's and had to pull the weights off the wheels because they hit... Stick-on weights will work on the inside of 10's tho.

I have 15" x 10" Pro-Stars and use a 5/16" spacer. Coach is right, the wheels will still rub sometimes. I marked my wheels and one wheel stud so that I put the wheels on the same side and same stud every time, that way they never rub.

Re: Darn Weld 15x10s! Anyone running a spacer?
I went through hell getting mine to fit...took the rims off so much that I ended up stripping 2 studs on the passanger side...now I run extended studs in the back w/a 5/16's spacer...
Works fine...but I'm still having problems fitting my 27x11.5x15 Hooier QTP's in the wheel well... <img border="0" title="" alt="[Roll Eyes]" src="images/icons/rolleyes.gif" />
