Default Harlan's 2-Step for 98 M6's - Solutions?

Did anyone find a solution to the hook-up of Harlan's 2-step?

My son's buddy did tonight Works just like Harlan's diagram, with the 'switch' being the cruise control clutch switch.

Hooked the rest of the 2-step up the same way as in Harlan's write-up - the white wire to a switch I attached to the shifter.

The gray wire (the pain-in-the *** thing that has been holding up the whole thing) lead it the cruise control switch (it's a button switch on the upper part of the clutch). The switch is a 2 tab switch - Gray wire from 2-step to one side, and than a black wire from the other side to a ground. The cruise control is no longer working but I don't use it much at the track anyway.

It works as described by the Harlan in his diagram. Set your RMP in the 'box'; push in the clutch; hit the arming button; rev it up; pop the clutch. Worked perfect.

We'll set how it works this weekend at the track.

Hope this helps. Quality product by the way Harlan Thanks Again.

David
