Default Just got back from Capitol Raceway Opinions Please on my run

Had my best run tonight, 12.78 at 111 with a 2.04 60' My mods are G2 intake,FTRA,Loud Mouth,HPP3, and a few of the free mods. My car is a 2000 Camaro SS with the M6. Basically I just want to know if this is about right. Should I Improve on anything or By some more parts?? Oh, and I've got 17" BFG Drag Radials. Thanks Guys.

Yes, you need to buy more parts! Maybe from someone called THUNDER RACING!

Funny you should mention that, as I look through my receipts the name Thunder Racing happens to come up quite often Thanks for the feedback, I think it's time for headers. Now if I could only find a pair of Grotts.......

Grotts are a little overpriced. You should call Jason about what he is running on his T/A he will steer you in the right direction on the best performance for the $$$$$$$.By the way nice times for such a crappy 60ft.

1.7's would be awesome though for bolt ons

1.6's would be just plain sick for a M6

1.5's and below

To get your 60 ft times down you probably need new tires - 17" DR's still have a pretty stiff sidewall. 15" ET streets would be the way to go, but even 16" on take off wheels would be better than 17's.

LCA's might help too - especially if you get better hooking tires.

Just my 2 cents from observing what works for others...

Personally, for racing I plan to go with 16" ET streets on Weld Draglite XP wheels and 15" skinnies on the front. Or maybe 15" Bogarts or Monoques if I can save up that much cash.
