Had a great time at the MMRA race, but..... where was everybody at <img border="0" title="" alt="[Confused]" src="images/icons/confused.gif" /> . I was very shocked with the number of cars that showed up. I was looking forward to seeing a bunch of nice cars, instead just a handful.
I will say this, you will see me at the next event. I talked quite a bit with Tums, and he is a nice guy. I really wish more people would have come to support the MMRA. We still had a great time though, I left with a hat, shirt and a $100 gift certificate from MTI.
Anyway, I got to meet some cool people, Bob Cosby, Colonel, Tums, and some other racers and ran a new best in the wife's car <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />

Re: Had a great time at the MMRA race, but..... I really wanted to make it, since I haven't really been to a single race this year. Everything just happened wrong for me, though, and there was no way I could do it.
Sorry to hear there weren't more people there. Hopefully Tums and Colonel won't let it get them down too much, and we'll see some more MMRA events in the future.
