Re: what will I run now?
There's only one way to find out, and that's to get to the track once you have it done. Bench racing a speculation are fine, but you never know for sure until you have a timeslip in your hands...
I would think mid 10's on the TNT 150 shot would be well within reach though.

Re: what will I run now?
I had a similar set up. Mine was a 346 heads cam car with a th350 without the trans brake. With a 100 shot I ran 10.70's at Keystone in the summer heat. I assume you will be running at Keystone. I would think with the T-brake, 360 and a 150 shot you'll run sub 10.50's or better at Keystone in the heat and even better in the fall. Keystone's elevation is 1,200'.
Hope to see you there next year. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />
Good luck with the new set up. Sounds AWESOME <img border="0" title="" alt="[Eek!]" src="gr_eek2.gif" />

Re: what will I run now?
Terry, My best et at Keystone with a 100 shot of juice was a 10.69.
Best et at Keystone N/A was 11.39
Best et at Cecil with a 100 shot was 10.51
Best et at Cecil N/A was 11.15
These et's were with my 346 heads cam set up.
With my new set up I hope to be running 10.50's or better N/A at Keystone and even better at lower elevation tracks in the better weather.
I hope to get at least 1 day at the track this year at Keystone. It will be close though. The new engine will be completed and installed by mid october if all goes well.
Man I can't wait.

PS: Mikey at rapid motorsports will do you a good job. He's a great guy too. I've been reading your other post <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />
Good luck

Re: what will I run now?
Terry, I do have a web site but it is going through some major changes. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" /> When it is complete I will post it.
I plan on a trip to Cecil in mid November and maby again in December if the weather holds. It is an awesome track. I've been there 3 times so far and the track is probably 2.5 to 3 tenths faster than Keystone. Chaulk that up to Cecil is only at 320' elevation and the air is better down there.

my best with the ati charger was 11.91, now I am changing to the following:
mti stage 2 heads and c2 cam
are 360 short block
tnt 150! wet shot
rossler th400 trans with manual valvebody and TRANS BRAKE (stock th400 1st gear)
yank converter maybe a tp?3800
already have good suspension
bmr phr
metco lca's with relo. brackets
spohn race style torque arm
kenny brown sfc's
bmr k member WITH upper and lower a arms
hals front and rear/with hal front springs
rr airbag
ABOUT ALL weight reduction done but radio/door panels and dash.
more info on my site www.geocities.com/raptorterry
I am probably going to get it tuned by Jason at f body central with edit and a dyno.
I will be running et drags (skinnies always on front!)
I am hoping for mid 10's, possible?
I realize it will have ALOT to do with my shifting and tuning etc. <img border="0" alt="[Firebird]" title="" src="graemlins/formula.gif" />

Re: what will I run now?
I've been following your posts on your build up. The whole time I've been thinking low 10's. Can't wait to see this car run. How much longer do I gotta wait to see it in action?

Re: what will I run now?
Oh well. Guess I'll just have to wait then. Sounds like we'll both be running new setups about the same time....try not to make mine look too bad hehe.

Re: what will I run now?
Heads/cam/gas/converter LS1s are easy mid 10s cars, especially with all of the weight reduction you have done. In fact, 10s can be done (without too much trouble) without the gas with all of your other mods.
But like others have said, bench racing only means so much. Gotta go out and do it . . .
