Finally able to make it back to the track with the new 28x10.5 ET Drags and 4.56 gears. Went in "race mode" to get some baseline runs before I start some tweaking with suspension and other things with the car.

"race mode" over "street use" consisted of bullet mufflers on the headers, no pass seat, no air filter, slicks, skinnies, no short belt tonight since I couldn't find it and raceweight at 3390 lbs.

First pass off the trailer, leaving at 5500 RPM and EASY shifting.

Next pass, left at around 6000 and shifted a little harder;

Last pass was a friendly race against Gordon(GTS-SS),weather got really bad 98% humidty <img border="0" title="" alt="[Sad]" src="gr_sad.gif" /> ,tried leaving around 6200(spun some)and got distacted by watching Gordon go past me in second <img border="0" alt="[Banging Head]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_banghead.gif" />

RAGEman,it is one of our STREET solid roller cams- 233\233 .629"\.629" 112 l\s.It acks like a 224\226 hyd cam but with better street maners and idles all day at 900 RPM with the A\C on.

If you guys are trapping in the 126 mph range with a "street" cam...what could I expect if you set me up with something a little bit more agressive for a 388 all bore motor?

Awesome! Man, I'm so glad to see more and more 6-speed cars hauling ***. All that was lacking in the past was our 60' times, but now we know how to handle that with these M6 cars.

1.49 60' is an awesome feeling in a manual, isn't it?

For all you guy's that could not see it, that was fun watching the two 10 sec 346 ci. ls1 race each other. Nice runs for both of you .
