I am running an Edelbrock cat back that sounds real good and flows a little better than stock , I did not bother to run it last night through the muffler because the last time I ran it through the muffler it went 12.46 at 112.9 and opend the cut out to run 12.24 at 115 mph. Last night I went 12.11 at 116.35 through the cut out since I put on the ls6 int. Dynoed 371.1 hp- and 371 tq through the muffler and 389 hp and 382.2 tq with the cut out. Get a cut out and enyoy the powwa

closed:
12.154@111.23 on a 1.686 60'
Very next pass w/it open:
12.069@111.78 on a 1.666 60'
However, on the dyno I gained 5 more hp with it closed.

I also gained on the dyno with it closed, but as soon as I opened it at the track I picked up 2 tenths and a whole MPH...

I'm thinking insted of putting a cutout, I would just put a bullet muffler off of each header.
I'm going to make another thread about this. thanks guys.
