Default New PB: 10.695@124.94, 1.449 60', sorry no video:

Switched the Et Streets, they were tired, put on my ET drags that have been collectting dust since last year, with only 3 runs on them.

My experiment with tires the last week look like this:

My tired Et streets, 26x10.5 on 7.5 CP= 1.59
Derty's QTP 26x11.5 on 8.5 CP= 1.50
My ET Drags 26x10.5 on 7.5 CP= 1.44!! <img border="0" alt="[Fluffy]" title="" src="graemlins/fluffy.gif" />

The tires pulled AT LEAST 1 foot off the ground. Here is the run:
.673
1.449
4.315
6.765
100.21
8.894
10.695
124.94

I'll find out what the DA was. It was crappy though. But I'm <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" /> <img border="0" alt="[Fluffy]" title="" src="graemlins/fluffy.gif" /> <img border="0" alt="[cheers]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_cheers.gif" /> <img border="0" alt="[chug]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_chug.gif" /> <img border="0" alt="[pimp]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_pimp.gif" /> <img border="0" alt="[Camaro]" title="" src="graemlins/camaro.gif" />

Did I mention that I drove the car to the track? 1.5 hrs, there and back.

Also had full exhaust (eldebrock RPM mufflers, 2.5"). Estimated car weight to be at least 3500 lbs. I plan to weight the car this week.

And that's about all I have to say about that.

Good Lord, that's awesome. Can I ask for the details on your setup?

Awesome time, my friend.

Black Sunshine Great job!!!! I do have a question though, are you sure that your tires are 26X10.5 Et drags because I can't find a listing for them they do show 26X10 however. Also what tire pressure were you running and what was the air temperature. I also have the 7.5 convo pros and am looking for more tire than my 26x10.5 Et streets any help would be appreciated. Again congrats on your new best. Frank95z

Setup, in general: Raceweight is about 3500. Stock block, ARE stage 2 heads, ARE 232 cam, Vig 3600, FLP level 4 4l60E tranny, Denny's nitrous ready driveshaft, Grott headers, true duals through X-pipe, Eldebrock 2.5" mufflers, ASP pully, PTB, stock descreened MAF, Fernco 3x3, MTI lid (cracked, thanks MTI), FTRA, Hal shocks and springs in the front, stock springs in the back. BMR TQ arm, and LCA. Moser 12 bolt, 3:73. Adjustable panhard bar. Sunframe connectors (Global West), Wolfe roll cage. Race seats, 5 pt harness. Convo pro rims, skinnies in front, 7.5 in back with ET Drags, 15x10. (sorry, you were right on the size.) Basically every bolt on there is. I'm sure I'm forgetting something.

Dynoed 388/441 HP/TQ on motor with TT2 rims/335 tires.

With 100 shot, went up to 471/555 HP/TQ. I bumped up the jets a few thousanths, so I'm sure I picked it up a little.

Those # and track times, are with the convertor unlocked. Air preasure was at 15 PSI, weather was 70 degrees, with humitity at 92. It was foggy out.

I'm going back Wed to get some pics. Is 100 good in the 1/8th? I'll work on getting that better. Reaction times are getting pretty good this year. On a better DA day, I predict the car has the potential for a 10.5 run. Maybe I can even get a lockup switch on the car before the end of the year. I went with the FLP this year, because I did not want to give up the OD. It is a street car that gets driven!!

I recomend the ET drags. They worked great!! The Streets seem to work well also, when they are new, but quickly go to crap when they wear out.

Thanks a lot for sharing your combo again. You have a good setup and low 10's are in your future for sure. My car is na and very dependent on good weather and down south that hasn't happened yet,but i'm trying to get my car ready now. I had a best of 1.51 shortime on 26x10.5x16 Et streets at 22#'s. That was on stock wheels. Now i'm trying the combo you used to run 26x10.5x15 et streets on convo pros. I will have to run them lower air pressure because they are narrower than the 16's. Thanks for the help I'll keep you posted. Frank95z

RAGTOP, you got me looking at some other slips, from Oct 5th, where we had a headwind of about 15-20, but DA was better, here is what the best slip that day looked like:
.737
1.512
4.407
6.828
101.49
8.931
10.716
125.96

That was with the Hoosier QTP, 26x11.5. Any thoughts on what ET and 1/8 would have been if I had the ET Drags on that day? I'm thinking a 10.5 something.

Harold I went back and guestimated DA for that day to be near 0'. The head wind was a killer though. Al's run was the first time DA dipped below 0' at least the latter half of the year. The track is actually between 600 and 700' above sea level though.
