Default First runs with TEA heads

Well I got a new best but I'm not real happy about it. HD and I were at MIR @ 5:00. Were about the 5th cars in line. I've got some learning to do with my new setup. First that Mcloed clutch hooks. There is no slip in that thing.
1st pass
R/T .502
60' 1.72
1/8 7.56
1/8 94.10
1/4 11.71
119.86

That was the best ET of the night and the only thing I liked about that pass was the R/T and mph.

Ran 11.75 twice with 1.74-1.75 60's and 120+ mph. Worst run was 11.80 @ 119.07.

Brent and Brian at TEA do great work. Car has plenty of power and I don't think you can beat the quality of their heads for the price. Its my first runs with the McLoed single disk kevlar clutch+ H/C. The car is a little harder to hook now than when it was bolt on. Once I get those 60's down the ET's will drop. Got to admit it was fun blasting by the old school muscle cars on the top end. Now all I have to do is make the car launch better so I don't have to catch them on the other end of the track.

awesome times for the shakedown runs man! Tonight was really my first shakedown passes also considering ive broke the last 2 times to tack and only made one pass

the car making alotta power on the top end to make up for those 60's! Once you get them down look out and hold on. 1.5-6's are right around the corner for ya!

so if your running 7.50's now in the 1/8th...what were you running before the head swap? i'm curious cause i'm running 7.80's on a cam only motor with the same 60ft's as you. i wanna know how many tenths and mph's i should be looking at gaining with the TEA heads. thanks a bunch!

Paul D. when my car was bolt on I ran 7.81 in the 1/8 @ 91.05 mph with about the same 60' time. Best ET bolt on was 12.12 @ 115.6. My 60', 1/8, and 1/4 times will go down when I get more that 4 runs with the H/C package. The track was really slick Friday night and everybody was having a hard time hooking.
