I took the car to the track tonight. Been having some suspect charging system problems. It reared its head after I did a burnout. Car stalled and wouldnt stay running. Got pushed off track. Car sounded awesome at least doing a 6000 rpm burnout. LOL

I dont have enough time to get the proper parts in time, and test before the shootout.

Have fun folks. Wish I was there racing but have a car to finish up.

Im not confident in my braking system either.

I want to upgrade the brakes, the charging system and an anti roll bar too.

Just have some more stuff to do before its quite up to par to take to a shootout anyway.

There will be more next year Im sure. Somewhere at least.

IMO! Safety, is the most important thing in drag racing. A Hot Rod needs to be right 1st and foremost. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" />

I felt the same way about the MMRA event in Montgomery awhile back. The car was just too far from ready for me to make it.
