You might need to Autotap to make sure everything is running as good as it should be and maybe work on your launches and shifting a little bit.
Late last spring with my '01 M6 SS (in descent but not great weather) I ran 8.10 (I *think* the MPH was about 86) with...
275/40/17 Nittos
Lid
!Filter
FTRA
Home ported throttle body
Descreened stock MAF sensor
C/F driveshaft
B&B Tri-flo exhaust

Well, let's break it down a little better...
Things I had that you don't...
!Filter
Home ported throttle body
C/F driveshaft
B&B Tri-flo exhaust (negated by your cuttout)
!Cats
LS6 intake
'00+ exhaust manifold is a little better than '98-'99
I'd say that's worth about 3.5-4 tenths.
Things you have that I didn't...
A cuttout worth about a tenth.
So, the advantage should be about 2.5-3 tenths in my favor yet you're 6 tenths behind. Could be the track wasn't hooking for you (I was pulling mid 1.8 60s.) You said it was shitty. Could be the weather was a little better for me. Could be a little altitude difference (I was at about 400' I think.) Could be that I was powershifting and you were not?
So if those things are the case then that could certainly explain the 3 tenths and you're car is running as it should. <img border="0" alt="[Burnout]" title="" src="graemlins/burnout.gif" />
