Sticky tire poll...which do you perfer?
Thinking about investing in a set of Slicks for the Spring (race season is over down here). I've been running 26x11.5x15 ETstreets. Let's see everyone's preference...

I have run all the name brands slicks this racing season.(6 sets in all) M/T, Goodyear, and Hoosier.
In a M6 Hot Rod the Hoosiers do not work very well.
The Goodyears work great and look really cool, just cost a little more.
The M/T work great on my M6 Hot Rod. For the money and longevity of the tire you can't go wrong with the M/T slicks.
Just make sure that if you have a M6. You order a set of slicks for a six speed.

on third set of m/t 26 x 11.5 x 15 et streets, usually get 150-170 passes from each set, and just recorded a 1.58 60 foot time on juice. No reason to switch here!

I had 28 x 10.5 x 15 MT ET Drags on my 2400#(with me in it) Mustang. They not hold traction. Swithced to 28 x 10 x 15 Hoosiers and they held like glue the next week. This was a pretty good test as no other changes were made at the time. My suspension was not right for either but does give a comparison. I was able to pull 1.4? 60's with the Hoosier's at the time.

I was happy with the Hoosier QTP's I ran, though since my car wasn't done till almost the end of the season I didn't use them much The didn't slip dropping the clutch at 6500 rpms with 4.56 gears
Though I am going to try some ET Streets come spring that are 26" instead of my 28"'s.

I'm running 27x11.5x15 Hoosier QTP's, they are working out great so far...I got about 2000 street miles on them, and about 7 passes...
