Default First 1/4 mile !!! ?

I took my car down to Richmond this Friday and I ran a 13.12 @ 109.36 Mph...Is this good or bad for my mods listed in my sig ?? Any feedback would be great.. BTW this was on Potenza's 245/50/16...I'm sure if I had some Nitto's or BFG's i would do better because my 60' is 2.0 - 2.1. Thx for the input!!!

Not bad at all, work that 60' foot down to a 1.95-2.00 and you should see high 12's in the fall.

Wow... reading stuff like this pisses me off.

I have 40 more rwhp than you, yet my times are almost identical. 13.1 @ 109, with a 2.1 60'.

OMG!! Perfect conditions...Fri night around 9:30pm in Richmond it was about 55* with low humidity and the track was hot b/c there was some sort of drag car shoot out! Only got to run 3X but the last was my best...once i rem. to lower my tire pressure LOL. So im glad to hear this is a good time. I was really hoping that i might see 12's by late this year. THX!!

Those are very good times. I am sure you can see some 12's right now, if you cut you 60' times down.

Man, just get those 60' times down and you'll be running 12's with ease. My car (2000 SS A4) has 308 to the wheels and though I haven't run a full 1/4 mile yet, it has run 8.20's @ 83.9 in the 1/8th hitting the rev limiter right before the traps. I'm sure mine has some 8.1's or even 8.0's in it once I get my shift kit installed so the tranny will shift. My car takes off particularly well as I cut a 1.82 60' time on brick hard regular radials to hit that 8.2. Congrats and maybe I'll see you at Richmond one day.

I agree, good times but there's more left to be had! Better 60 foot from a sticky and/or better launching and 12s are no problem!
