Default Tell me if I'm doing good or not

Just got back from running the Zed (2002 Z28 A4) at River City Raceway in San Antonio. Weather was really cool, 58* temps (COLD breeze) and the track was hooking up. I was told the elevation is "not more than 300ft" but I'm not for sure.

Anywayz, due to the massive amount of cars here for the Clash of the Titans, I only got 3 runs in. Here's how they went:

1.75......7.91@86.63......12.45@108.01

1.74......7.90@86.43......12.49@107.09

1.74......7.91@86.43......12.48@107.11

The 2nd and third run were made with the car cooled all the way down....maybe too much cause the tranny didn't shift in time for the 2-3 shift and bumped the limiter. Still am totally satisfied with the numbers. Raceweight at the scale was 3495lbs with me in it. COMPLETE list of mods:

Lid
3500 Vig
ported MAF
unhooked muffler (but still running through cats)
Hoosiers

SOMEBODY tell me if this is where it should be at ET-wise?!

FYI, the time corrected to Roswell's elevation (home track, 3600ft) comes out to a 13.02@103.2 I ran a 13.03@103.5 in Roswell last weekend. Now tell me those NHRA correction factors aren't accurate.

Very consistant times. Ever do any bracket racing?

I think your 60s could be better w/that converter (you said the track was hooking). I would say your 60s should be in the low to mid 1.6s unless you have 2.73s. You should be in the 12.20s IMO

I've been out of the bolt-on game for some time now, but those numbers look really good to me, especially considering the few mods done to the car!

Way to go!

I agree with GeorgeC, those are good times for the list of mods you show. Our car does mid to low 1.6 60fts, but we have a 3600 vigi with 3.42 gears, mac headers, HAL shocks, asp pulley and 3250lb raceweight. i would be very impressed with those times.

MId to low 1.6s? Uh, don't know about that one. hehe I only got those 3 runs in and I just flashed the converter all 3 runs. I didn't really get a chance to experiment with stalling/flashing it, though at home I usually never see a difference.
