Default 10s with 346ci 6/speed on Drag Radials

I would like to see who here is running 10.99 or lower with stock displacement LS1/LS6 engine, 6 speed, and on drag radials. Please tell me your engine/power adder setup, track times, raceweight, etc..

Thanks!
Justin

There are only 2 guys on this site that have gone into the 10's with a 346 M6 NA and both are roller motors on slicks.

Maybe someone else can tell you more.

Justin, Whats up? Are you thing about something special?

FYI, there aren't ANY 6-speeds running 10s on radials all-motor. Don't tempt me

I was the first M6 to run 11s NA on drag radials, that was a looong time ago!

It can be done.. I think Allan Futral can do that easily on a 100 shot.. What do you think Allan?

I just checked my email and I was informed that one of our members ran 10.8 at 132mph on a 346ci and 100 shot this past weekend at a show.. I will let that member post the details.. This was at a Mustang Event in GA..

I'm sure a lot of people could do it, but I want to see who has already done it. Vince are you talking about Ron? I read his post in classifieds were he ran that number. Did not know it was on DRs.

Tony, why not go for it? Drive it to the track on the Racing Harts and see what it runs in true street trim.

I plan on doing it with my car in the next few months some GTP 5.3 Stage II's and Piglet cam going on Maximus next, that along with my little nitrous kit should get me there.

How many M6's are in the 10's period...regardly of cubic inch? I'd be interested in seeing an M6 top 25 or top 50 list. I know roman ran a high nine and tony but other then that I dont' remember seeing too many M6's in the 10's. Opps how did I almost forget about Harlan?

Sean, that sounds interesting. We will have very similar setups, except I will have the NXL DP. You are going to run on DRs?

blur, this thread is just for 346ci 6speeds on drag radials. Feel free to start another thread.

Justin, lets put the kit on your car I know the stock bottom end will take it. lol

Back when I had heads/cam/100-shot Nitrous, I ran 11.15 @ 130 mph on nitto drag radials. Raceweight was in the 3575 lb range. I broke the rearend on the very next pass and almost wrecked the car. The nitrous kit was FOR SALE the next day.

Its pretty dangerous to run a quick M6 on radials, especially a 10-second one.

I'd be willing to run it on some DRs, but not on the Pirellis. That would be instant wall target practice in this car.

Correction. Ron ran it on ET STreets.. So no 10.80 pass on DR's. This is still up for grabs.. If there is money involved I will get a Nitrous kit myself and drop the weight..

It would not be easy by any means but I do think it is possible Sounds like its getting time for me to take out a loan

Does a C5 count?
10.86 @ 128 1.68 60' on BFG 315/35 drag radials. The car put down 545/620 on a dynojet with a 100 shot of the laughing gas.
