Default Rim question "Centerline Convo Pro's"

I'm looking to put the Centerline convo pro's on my 00 TA RAM AIR. I was woundering if anyone has done this and if you have what spacers and how much grinding is necessary as well. I don't want the getto look so I was going with the following:

15-4 with a 1.75 B.S. upfront
15-7.5 with a 5 B.S. rear

Will the 7.5 rim be good enough to handle a MT ET Street 26-10.5-15? Any advice is greatly appreciated. I've done a search and found several cars running these rims and they look great. Also is our car a 5-4.5 or a 5-4.75 bolt pattern as well.

Thanks

Wayne

That is exactly what I ran on my SS Camaro that was lowered 1". Worked GREAT.

Get the lugs that are drilled through, as the blind ones might bottom out.

No drilling or grinding, and they are the LIGHTEST rims on the market.

Get the "combo pattern". Same price, 1/2 lb lighter, and you can put them on a Ford in a pinch.

I run 15x4s on the front and 15x8.5s on the rear of my 99 Trans Am.No grinding needed at all.

The 8.5's stick out a bit and kinda run into the "ghetto" category just slightly. You may like the 7.5's better. The 10.5 might be pinched on the rim a little bit. Other than that they are awesome! And look great too!

The 10.5 inch ET street is actually only 8.5 inches treadwidth so they will be perfect for the Convo Pro 7.5s
cheers,

I currently have the 15 x 7.5s with the 9" Hoosier slick. This guy I know wants to sell me a set of 15 x 10s for the rear, with the 10.5 Hoosier slicks. He claims they fit perfect with no grinding needed. Can anyone second that?

They may fit but they will stick way out unless the are Weld wheels with a 7.5 BS. I think the most you can get on the Centerlines is 5 in. BS on the 15x10.

I want the Convo Pros also, BUT what I'm looking into is will they fit my 68 Camaro AND my Trans Am? I was wondering if the bolt pattern would be the same? Anyone know about the backspacing on the '68? I might end up having to buy two seperate sets but I would like to run the same set on both cars.

The bolt pattern is the same, not sure about the back space. I believe you should be able to. The older cars wheels sat more inside the wheel well from the factory which allowed more reverse dish. They will probably fit more like the factory wheels on the '68.

The 15x8.5s with a MT 10.5x26x15 Sportsman Pro stick out a bit on the rear of my car,but I only run this setup at the strip so looks arent that important.
