Yes, accordind to the artical NITTOs have more tread on them and feel more stabel at freeway speeds(Top End) . The BFRs were slightley taller even though they were both 275/60-15. In the same magazine NITTO has a advertisement stating that the 555rs(drag radials) will last 15,000 miles under normal driving conditions. I don`t care if BFGs drs cut a better 60 ft time I`m Still getting NITTOS.

Super Chevy had an article on BFG vs. Nitto's.
BFG had better 60 ft times
Nittos had better 1/8 and 1/4 times..I have Nitto's and love them.

I have had both tires and love the nitto's . I ran 1.78 60ft with both tires. The bfg's stick better on the street with little to no heating up. But the nitto's will stick if heated. I only got 6,000 miles from the bfg's and so far after approx 9,000 miles on the nitto's they look great and are much better to drive everyday on. Both drive great for daily driver/race car but the nitto is as good if not equal, and wears much better. NITTO'S. Anyway that's my 2 cents worth.

Re: BFG drs vs. NITTO drs
my best 60' on nittos was a 2.1 I could do a lot better if I heated them up more but my rear end is dead. I'll have to give it a shot when I have the 4.10's in

nittos rule
245/50/16's and cut 1.58, 1.59 all the way to 1.64's on them all day long stock internally/NA with 3.23's
Ive found out though that they hook fine when new, but when they get a few miles on them traction goes to hell. I couldnt hook for squat when mine got about bald with the cam now. Mybe its just the cam overpowering them now, but i htink its because they were about shoot to hell
Nittos on a A4 will hook just as well if not better than BFG's. For a M6 i would get BFG's. Whichever you get its important to do a nice burnout and stick with them. It will take more and 4-5 passes to figure out what works and what doesnt.. may take 15-20 passes. It took me a year to go from 1.8's to 1.5's on them
